1 Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda: Gorilla trekking in Uganda is the most famous activity in the country for travelers interested in primate safaris in Uganda. The activity will give access to the endangered mountain gorillas in Africa. The activity will lead you to any of the four sectors of the park, namely; nkuringo, Buhoma, buhoma or Ruhija. This will start with pick up from areas near the park or Kigali city, with early pick up at 3:00 am. On reaching the park, you will head to the park headquarters for the selected sector, from where you will participate in gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. At the headquarters, you will embark on the briefing session for the activity, which involves the rules and regulations to follow for your gorilla trekking experience in Uganda. You will be assigned to a guide and ranger and then embark on your hike to the habituated gorilla family in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Get the opportunity to hike through the impenetrable forests of Bwindi National Park, coming across several different attractions like the Albertine endemic bird species, different mammal species like the forest elephants, bushbucks, and other attractions. After you get to the habituated gorilla family, you will spend an hour with them, understanding more about their behaviour, taking their pictures, asking your guide questions about their behaviour, and many other rewarding features about the species. After the experience, you will head back to your starting point, where you will receive your certificate of participation and later make your way back to Kigali city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice, and this will mark the end of your 1 Day Gorilla Trekking in Uganda.
