This 1-day Kigali city tour will give you an insight into the history, culture, and adventure of Rwanda, with various destinations that offer a range of attractions and experiences to enhance your Rwanda safari. As early as 7:00 am, you will embark on your Kigali city tour as when you meet up with your guide who will transfer you to Kigali genocide memorial museum which will give you an insight of the trying period of the period of Rwanda during 1994 where over a million people died due to tribalism and segregation and also get the chance to watch how far the country has come to be safe and one of the most visited countries in Africa. You will visit the Inema Crafts Centre, where you can view various African paintings that depict the culture of the Rwandan people. You can also participate in craft-making using organic paint made from a mixture of cow dung and soil, plant extracts for pigments, and many other impressive aspects of the art. You will also visit the Kandt house museum, the former home of the first German colonial resident. The visit to the house will give you an insight into the colonial period of Rwanda. You will also get to visit the presidential palace museum whih is also considered the starting point for the Rwanda genocide, where the then President of Rwanda, whose plane was bombed and killed, the remains of the plane can also be seen there. This marks a remembrance of the difficult time the country went through.  You will also visit Mount Kigali, where you can visit a local bar for some refreshing local brew, visit the Kimironko market to purchase local produce, souvenirs, and much more. After the visit to the market, you will be dropped off at a location of your choice, which will mark the end of your 1-day Kigali city tour.
