1 Day Lake Nakuru National Park Safari: Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for being home to Lake Nakuru, a soda lake that has a high concentration of sodium bicarbonate and carbonate located within the Kenyan rift valley. The park is famous for its massive populations of lesser and greater flamingos, the black and white rhinos, and over 450 bird species. In this 1 day Lake Nakuru National Park safari, it will focus on the game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park, which will give you access to a number of different attractions that will give you exceptional experiences.
At a location of your choice in Nairobi city, you will meet up with your guide and then make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is a 3-hour drive to the park, arriving around 9:30 am. On reaching the park, you will participate in a full-day game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will take place in both the morning game drive, which will give you access to several early risers catching their first bite for the day, and you will visit the rhino sanctuary to watch both the black and white rhinos. You will also ride through the acacia forests, where you will observe the tree-climbing lions, you will watch the leopards, and different bird species. Around 1:00 pm, you will have lunch at a picnic spot or one of the lodges in the park, like the Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill Lodge. After lunch, participate in the afternoon game drive where you will make your way to the Lakeshore to watch the flamingos, you will then visit the baboon cliff for panoramic views of Lake Nakuru, you will observe the surrounding forests, you will watch the wildlife species, and many other attractions. After the safari experience, you will depart the park and make your way back to Nairobi city, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice, and this will mark the end of your 1 day Lake Nakuru National Park safari.
