This 1 day Rwanda gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park will lead you to the Virunga mountains in Rwanda, mount gahinga, mount muhabura, mount sabyinyo, mount bisoke and mount karisimbi where you will find the habituated gorilla families. The history of habituating the gorillas in Rwanda dates back to the 1960’s with a record of four gorillas that were habituated by her and more numbers increased before she was later on murdered in her cabin.
Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park will start from briefing area where you will participate in the session where you will understand the rules and regulations to follow during your safari experience. After you will be assigned to a guide and ranger to take you on your safari experience. During your safari experience, you will hike the Virunga mountains, watch a number of attractions from the Albertine endemic species like the hamlyn’s monkey, vervet monkey and many other attractions. When you get to the habituated gorilla family, you will spend an hour with them, taking pictures of the species as you ask questions about the species. When you finish the gorilla trekking experience, you will then head back to your starting point where you will be presented your gorilla trekking certificate and later be transferred back to Kigali city where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice and the end of your safari experience.
