12 Days Tanzania and Rwanda Safari: Combining both Rwanda and Tanzania will give you the ultimate African safari. Day 1: Pick up and drive to Lake Manyara National Park
You will be met by your guide at the airport, who will welcome you and brief you about your safari. After the briefing, you will continue your drive to Lake Manyara National Park with a stop in Mto wa Mbu to see the local crafts. You will continue to your lodge for lunch after your visit to Mto wa mbu.
You will participate in an afternoon game drive after lunch at your lodge in Lake Manyara National Park. You will also enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment and also see various wildlife species such as the tree-climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, zebras, and many others. You will have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to the Serengeti National Park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to participate in a half-day game drive, which will give you the chance to watch several attractions like impalas, zebras, elephants, Uganda Kobs, gazelles, bushbucks, and many other attractions. After the rewarding safari experience, you will make your way to your picnic spot, have lunch enroute as you make your way to Serengeti National Park. On reaching the park, you will participate in an afternoon game drive and later make your way to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to the park’s plains to participate in a short game drive which will give you the chance to watch more species that you might have missed out after, you will transfer to Ngorongoro crater to explore the beautiful plains that will ensure you have a rewarding safari experience watching several different attractions in the wild. After a short game drive in the crater, you will transfer to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full day Ngorongoro Crater drive
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to the Ngorongoro Crater plains and get the opportunity to see over 25,000 animals. The drive in the crater is one of the most fulfilling, with several animal species that can be seen. With this full-day game drive, you will have the chance to watch the big five animals in the crater as they hunt and graze in the plains. You will also get to watch several different herbivores like the elands, gazelles, and many other rewarding attractions. After the safari experience, you will make your way to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After an early morning breakfast, make your w drive you to Tarangire National Park, a park famous for having large herds of elephants, baobab trees, and many diverse wildlife species. On reaching the park, you will embark on a full day game drive to watch several eye catching attractions from the 100 year old baobab trees, you will watch carnivores like the lions, leopards catching their prey, get ready to watch the wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, hippo, giraffes can also be seen and for travelers interested in birding in Serengeti national park, carry your bird checklist for Tanzania because several different bird species can be seen during the drive near the Tarangire river where are number of animals converge to quench their thirst during the dry season. Day 6: Departure
After an early morning breakfast, make your way back to Arusha city, where you will catch your flight to Rwanda. On reaching, you will check into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Transfer to Akagera National Park and Ihema Boat Cruise.
You will be met by your driver guide at your agreed location at the Kigali city or Kigali international airport to transfer to Akagera national park where you will arrive in time to embark in the boat cruise on Lake Ihema where you will see game like hippopotamuses, elephants quenching their thirst from the river banks, Crocodiles and many bird species like the endangered shoe bill stork, the king fishers and many other water birds that live around the lake and the surrounding swamps. Day 8: Full day Game drive and a night game drive
Rise up early in the morning, have breakfast, and go for a morning game drive with great anticipation of seeing the different animals which rise early to graze and predators looking for their early morning kill, especially the big cats like the leopard, lions, and many other carnivores. You will get to watch several herbivores like the rhinos grazing within the plains, elephants, gazelle, oribi, and many other rewarding game animals. After the morning game drives, you will head back to your hotel for refreshments and later in the afternoon, transfer to take part in the evening game drive. Day 9: Half game drive and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After the activity, you will make your way to the park, having lunch en route, and later transfer to Volcanoes National Park, where you will arrive in time to participate in the Ibyi’wacu cultural village tour. Have a guided walk around the village at the different sites that exhibit the different aspects of the people of the village to gain insight into the interesting features of the culture of the people of Rwanda. You can also get the chance to visit the Musanze caves, which have rich cultural attributes that will give you the opportunity to understand more about the history of the people of Rwanda. Day 10: Golden monkey trekking in Rwanda
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel. Our guide will meet you after having your breakfast and your lunches packed, and he will take you to Kinigi Headquarters, where you are expected to be given a brief before starting the gorilla trek. This brief is done at 7 am. You are given guidelines during this brief before you are allowed to start the trek. To be quite different from the gorillas in the wild, the mountain gorillas. The rangers will lead you deep into the forest in search of the Gorillas. Day 12: Nature walks and transfer back to Kigali city
