Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
At an agreed location in Kampala city or Entebbe international airport, you will make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive to the park will take you about 8 hours to reach the park, but you will have stopovers at the equator, where you will participate in the southern and northern hemisphere experiments. You will also get the chance to visit the Igongo Cultural Centre, where you will enjoy a local meal and also get to visit the museum, which will allow you to have a look at the culture of the people of Uganda. After the experience, you will make your way to the park. On reaching, you will have refreshments and later participate in a community walk. Later, make your way to the park for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Kigali city
After breakfast, with your packed lunch, you will make your way to the park headquarters to participate in a gorilla trekking briefing session. After the session, you will be allocated to a guide and ranger and then make your way to the park to participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda, which is a one-hour safari experience that will give you the chance to spend time with the gorillas and take their pictures.
