Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and evening boat cruise
At a location of your choice in Kampala city, you will be picked up by your guide to transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a stopover in Kayabwe for the equator experience, where you will watch both the northern and southern hemisphere equator experiences. Later, head to the park where you will arrive in time to participate in the short game drive as you make your way to your hotel. Later in the afternoon, you will then head to the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel, which will offer a vast look at the landscape, including a number of water birds like the shoebill stork, flamingos, king fisher’s great cormorant, the little grebe, the northern lapwing, red-necked grebe, wandering albatross. Animals like the hippos, elephants, waterbucks, buffalo, and crocodiles can also be seen sunbasking among other animals. After the beautiful adventure, you will head back to your hotel to relax and get ready for the next day. Alternatively, you can carry out nature walks or community walks. You will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer back to kampala city
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will go on a morning game drive where you will have the opportunity to see a number of early risers grazing in the plains, for instance, the antelopes, buffaloes, elands, impalas, among other animal species. After the safari experience, you will make your way to transfer back to Kampala city. On your way to Kampala, you will pass through Mbarara town, you will have a stopover to have lunch at the Igongo cultural centre, where you will visit the craft shop, and you can buy some take-home souvenirs. In Kampala, a city tour will be carried out where you will visit places like you can also visit the Kabaka’s lake, the Buganda parliament, the royal mile, and the king’s palace, which are heritage sites in the Buganda kingdom. After the safari, your guide will drop you at the location of your choice in Kampala or at the Entebbe International airport and the end of your 2 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park safari.
