Detailed Itinerary for 3 Days Wildlife Viewing in Masai Mara.

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi and Transfer to Masai Mara.

Arrival & Transfer to Masai Mara: On day 1 of your 3 Days Wildlife viewing in Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, you will be met by your guide upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta Airport in Nairobi. You will then proceed to board a charter flight to the airfield in Masai Mara. Once you land in the park, your guide will drive you to your lodge where you will check in and have lunch.

Afternoon Game Drive: After you have had your lunch and rested enough, you will then proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park. Keep your eyes open for predators such as hyenas, lions, cheetah, and if you are lucky, you might just spot a rhino nearby. While on the vast savannah plains in Masai Mara, you will cross paths with giraffes, impalas and other antelopes. Drive along the shores of the famous Mara River where you might find elephants, buffalo and a large concentration on Nile crocodiles.

Later drive back to your lodge for dinner and accommodation.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara.

Full Day Game Drive: Have your breakfast in the morning and head out for a full day game drive in Masai Mara National Park. This guided game drive will lead you to some of Africa’s largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas in the park. Masai Mara national park is a haven for savannah wildlife animals in Kenya, and the park is among one of the top destinations for wildlife safaris on the African continent. Return back to your lodge for lunch and rest for a while. Later head out for an afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara plains which are full of wildebeests especially during the migration season which is early July to September. You will also have an opportunity to see impala, topi, cheetah, jackals, and bat-eared foxes. If you are lucky, you will spot some black rhinos within the park; these rhino species are a bit shy and tend to isolated themselves from other wildlife animals in the park, which makes sighting them quite difficult. You will also drive along the Mara River, which has a large number of Hippos, as well as Nile crocodiles.

Later retire back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Community Tour & Transfer back to Nairobi.

Community Tour: After having breakfast at your lodge, you will drive to Narok which is a famous Masai town near Masai Mara national park. You will get a chance to interact with the local Masai people living in this town and visit local craft shops where you can grab yourself and loved ones some souvenirs. 

Transfer back to Nairobi: Have lunch and later proceed with your transfer to Nairobi where your guide will either drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport or to your hotel in Nairobi city.  Alternatively; upon your arrival in Nairobi, you can take a short tour of the city where you can visit interesting tourist sites like; Snake Park, the National Museum, and Nairobi market to mention but a few.
