3 Days Kidepo Fly-In Safari: This is a 3 day Fly-In Safari to Kidepo Valley National Park, also known as the “Masai Mara” of Uganda. Get to explore the stunning wildlife in Kidepo national park and also embark on a cultural expedition to some of the local communities adjacent to the park.

Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1: Pickup in Entebbe and Transfer to Kidepo
Pickup in Entebbe & City tour: Your guide/driver will pick you from your hotel in Entebbe or upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. You will then embark on a short tour of Entebbe city where you will visit the zoo. You can also choose to visit other interesting places in the city such as; Kitoro market, Botanical Gardens, and some beaches. Have lunch and at midday, you will drive to Entebbe Airport where you will take a domestic flight to Kidepo Valley National Park using AreoLink Aviation to fly to the national park. It takes about 2hours to fly to Kidepo national park from Entebbe. Upon arrival in the park, Check into your lodge, get refreshed and relax at the lodge for the rest of the evening.
Night Game Drive: After having your dinner, you will have a night game drive where you will see animals such as; bush backs, jackals, Uganda Kobs and you may even get an opportunity to spot nocturnal wildlife animals like leopards, lions and serval cats. Drive back to your lodge for a good night’s rest.

DAY 2: Morning Game Drive and Community Cultural Tour.
Morning Game Drive: Upon your arrival in the park, check into your lodge. Later, you will embark on a morning game drive along the Narus Valley. You will get an opportunity to see lots of wildlife in that area of the park such as; buffalo, giraffes, zebras, elands, oribis, elephants- and even the odd jackal. If you are lucky, you might even spot some of the lions in the park, sitting in “sausage trees” along the Narus Valley. Day game drives in Kidepo valley national park can take several hours between 1-3 or all day depending on what attractions you want to see in the park. Drive back to your lodge for lunch.
Community Cultural Tour: After having your lunch, you will embark on a community cultural tour where you will meet members of the IK tribe during prearranged hikes to the Morungole Mountains outside the national park. You will get to watch dance performances from the some of the dance groups in the community and also interact with the friendly locals.
Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: Guided Nature Walk and Departure.
Guided Nature Walk: Have breakfast in the morning at your lodge. Meet up with your guide and head out for a guided nature walk in the park. Take a 2hour guided nature walk along the Narus Valley extending over a 5km radius from Apoka Tourism Center. Head back to your lodge for lunch and prepare to exit the national park.
Departure: When departing from Kidepo national park, you can choose to drive to Kampala via Gulu or Kitgum and have your guide/driver drop you off at a hotel of your choice in Kampala city. Alternatively, you can opt to fly back to Entebbe from Kidepo national park and have your guide drop you off at the airport or any hotel of your choice in Entebbe City. All these alternatives are possible depending on your departure schedule for your flight back home. Please do inform your travel consultant in advance.
