Inema Arts Centre’s fundamental mission is to provide a venue for ten artists in residence to explore their creative abilities. Dedicated to modern African arts, crafts, music, and dance. Inema’s artists create paintings, sculptures, and mixed media expressions that are displayed in programs that promote the creative arts in Rwanda. The Inema Arts Center fosters creative expression via seminars, training, and hands-on lessons.
Inema is Rwanda’s largest art center, with room for ten artists-in-residence to explore their creative genius and present their work. Inema also houses programs, projects, and initiatives aimed at turning creativity into a source of income. Today, Inema employs approximately 100 employees and attracts over 7,000 tourists every year.
