Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
Transfer to Nyungwe National Park, hope to see the chimpanzees and 13 other primate species in Rwanda. The drive to the park will give you exceptional views of the rolling hills of Rwanda covered by tea and coffee plantations. You will have a stopover at the King’s palace in Nyanza, which will give you an insight into the culture of the people of Rwanda. Have lunch and later make your way to Huye, where you will participate in the coffee tour, watch how coffee is grown, and support the women with their coffee initiative. After the safari experience, you will head to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: colobus tracking and departure
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park to participate in colobus tracking, which will give you the chance to understand more about the species as they go about their behavior in the wild. With colobus tracking, the activity is a day’s activity which will give you access to the park’s plains, you will explore the different trails in the park which will give you access to bird species like the Albertine endemic bird species like Pockefellers’s sun bird, Chapin’s flycatcher, Rwenzori Batis, strange weaver, red throated alethe and many other rewarding attractions.
