Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park and afternoon boat cruise
At an agreed location in Kigali city, our guide will meet up with you and take you through the briefing session for your safari experience, the rules and regulations to follow for you to have a safe safari. After the briefing session, make your way to Akagera National Park, a journey that will give you a chance to watch several rewarding views from the rolling hills of Rwanda, the tea estates, and you will watch the locals as they go about their day, and many other rewarding features. On reaching the park, you will make your way to the park reception, present your tickets for the activities you may have booked to participate in during your safari experience in the park. After the check, you will make your way to your hotel for lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will participate in the afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema, which will give you the chance to watch several attractions, including the endangered shoebill stork, a prehistoric bird with rewarding features.
