This 3 Days Gorilla Safari in Uganda will lead you to the endangered mountain gorillas in Africa by visiting either Mgahinga National Park or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will access the habituated gorillas in Uganda. For the gorilla safari in Uganda you can either participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda or gorilla habituation in Uganda however in this itinerary we are going to focus gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas that you will get to spend an hour with them understanding their behavior in the wild for a memorable primate safari in Uganda.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Depending on your location in Kampala city, you will be picked by your guide to transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will get to participate in gorilla trekking in Uganda. While making your way to the park, you will have the chance to stop over at Kayabwe for the northern and southern experiments. You will also get to visit the Igongo cultural centre where you will get to buy souvenirs and also have lunch at the centre. After the safari experience at the centre, you will make you make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving in time to participate in the Batwa Trail experience, to understand more about the previously forested people with their unique cultural values.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Uganda
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel with your packed lunch, you will make your way to the park headquarters to participate in the briefing session for your gorilla trekking experience in Uganda. With gorilla trekking, you will get to spend an hour with the species observing a number of their different features as they co-exist with one another and the forests. After the safari experience. You will then make your way to head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala City or Entebbe City
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to transfer to Kampala city, having a stopover in Mbarara city for lunch. On reaching, you can either be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kampala City or Entebbe City to catch your next flight home.
