Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire national park
At a location of your choice in Arusha city, where you will be picked up by your guide from your hotel or a location of your choice in the city and drive you to Tarangire national park, a park famous for having the large herds of elephants, baobab trees and many diverse wildlife species. On reaching the park, you will embark on a full day game drive to watch a number of eye catching attractions from the 100 year old baobab trees, you will watch carnivores like the lions, leopards catching their prey, get ready to watch the wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, hippo, giraffes can also be seen and for travelers interested in birding in Serengeti national park, carry your bird checklist for Tanzania because a number of different bird species can be seen during the drive near the Tarangire river where are number of animals converge to quench their thirst during the dry season. After the safari experience, you will head to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to lake Manyara
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will transfer to Lake Manyara national park. You will also enjoy views of the rift valley escarpment and also see various wildlife species such as the tree climbing lions, elephants, buffalos, antelopes, impalas, zebras, elephants, Uganda Kobs, gazelles, bush bucks and many other attractions. After the safari experience, you will make your way to your hotel for dinner an overnight stay.
Day 3: Ngorongoro crater drive
With your packed lunch, after an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way to transfer to the Ngorongoro crater where you will embark on the game drive in the park which will lead you to over 25,000 animal species. On reaching the Ngorongoro Crater you will enjoy the exceptional views of the crater filled with animal species grazing within the plains, the carnivores like the lions catching their prey the herbivores like the elands, gazelles and many other attractions. After the experience, you will also get to visit Lake Magadi where you will watch the pink flamingos. After the safari experience, you will head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 : Fly to kihihi
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will make your way back to Arusha where you will get on a flight to Kihihi airstrip. On reaching, you will be connected to Queen Elizabeth national park. On reaching, you will participate in the game drive which will give you access to a number of rewarding animal species from the herbivores as they go about their daily activities in the wild for a rewarding safari experience. After the game drive, you will also get to participate in the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will watch a number of attractions including head back to your hotel for dinner and over night stay.
Day 5: Full day game drive in queen Elizabeth national park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel your guide for the safari will pick you up and transfer you to the park’s game drive trails to embark on your full day game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park. You will watch a number of mammal species like; Common Duiker, Defassa Waterbuck, Oribi reedbucks, Impalas, Buffalos, Bush pigs, Giraffes, Eland, and Zebras, Uganda kobs up-close After the first half of your drive, you will have lunch and later in the afternoon, you will participate in the second half of your drive to watch a number of animals that you might have missed out on while on your morning drive. After the experience, head back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Lion tracking and departure
After an Early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will then transfer to the park to participate in Lion tracking in Uganda which will give you access to a given lion pride which will give you the chance to understand the behavior of the species in the wild with lion tracking in the wild, you will have the chance to get an up close look at the species in their given lion pride. You will have the opportunity to watch the males as they protect the lion pride, you will also get to watch the females as they catch their prey in the wild. You will get to see how the lions get to establish their territories by urinating along their territory. With this, other lions from different prides will not cross over to another’s lion pride.
