Detailed Itinerary for 7 Days Kenya and Tanzania Wildlife Safari.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara
Your guide will take you up from your accommodation in Nairobi, or you will be greeted at the airport by our driver-guide. He’ll tell you all about the safari. Following your safari briefing, you will begin your journey to Maasai region via several villages and the famed Maasai town, where we will make a quick stop for artisan shopping. You will then go to the lodge, check in, have refreshments, and if time allows, go on an evening game drive in Masai Mara in search of African big five such as lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalos, as well as other animals. Return to our lodge for dinner and a night’s rest.
Day 2: Full Day at Masai Mara game reserve
Game drives that are extensive. You’ll get up early for our African breakfast and prepare for your long-awaited day in Masai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, set out for a full day on the Masai Mara grasslands with your lunch boxes. The opportunity to see the wildebeest migration. Other creatures to see in Masai Mara include a huge pride of lions, zebras, leopards, elephants, and giraffes, among others. Return to the lodge and unwind while you wait for lunch.
After lunch, we proceed on an evening game drive in quest of more animals, focusing on what we may have missed on prior dates. You will proceed on another game drive along additional paths, which will allow you to see even more animals and even watch the Great Wildebeest Migration if it is in season. Return to your resort for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park
Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have an early breakfast and will leave the lodge as early as possible, about 6 a.m. We drive out of the reserve through the Oloololo gate in the reserve’s western section to the border with Isebania. After receiving permission from the border customs office, we travel to the Serengeti National Park. As you travel to your resort, do an en-route game drive. Check in and unwind as you wait for supper and your overnight stay.
Day 4&5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Game Drive for the Entire Day After an early breakfast at the resort, we for a full-day wildlife drive along the Seronera region with our lunch boxes. Enjoy the big game in the Seronera River area, which is home to Lions, Thomson gazelles, topi, ostriches, and cheetahs.
Following your game drive, you will be taken to the Visitor Centre, where we will have our lunch break and open our lunch boxes. The Tourist Information Centre has some fascinating animal displays as well as a gift store providing regional information pamphlets and maps. The shop also has a refreshment area, where we will eat our lunch.
In the evening go for a game drive to the Kopjes the weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. The Kopjes are good hunting grounds for lions especially in dry seasons when most wildlife come to have a dip and drink up. Look for other animals which we might have missed during the morning game drive. Return for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge, and proceed to descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour.
Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot.
You will also visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually have been seen here.
Day 7: Drive to Nairobi via Namanga Border
Wake up very early for a transfer to Arusha and the Namanga border, from where your Kenya safari guide shall be waiting for you to transfer you back to Nairobi. You will dropped off in Nairobi city, bringing your safari to an end.
