Day 1: Transfer to Kibaale forest national park
Wake up enthusiastic about the start of your 7 day Uganda trip. Your driver guide will be waiting for you after breakfast at your hotel or when you are ready to start your safari. Get on the 5 hour transfer from Kampala to Kibale National Park.
Arrive at your hotel in the evening hours and settle in as dinner is getting ready. Right after dinner, you will get back to your rooms and rest for the day.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibaale forest national park
Get up early to join the team headed for the chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale forest national park. Kibale forest national park is one of the homes of these primates and has been nominated a number of times as the best destinations in Africa for chimpanzee trekking. This tropical forest on top of chimpanzees is a home to about 12 other primates. Chimpanzees will be seen swinging from one tree branch to another and sounds all the way from the forest entry point.
After your chimpanzee trek, you will head back to your hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, meet up with your driver guide and head out for the bigodi wetland visit. This is an initiative of the local people living around the park, take a nature walk and later return to your hotel for dinner and second night in Kibale forest.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Wake up on a more leisurely note and connect for breakfast and head out to Kasese district- Queen Elizabeth national park. You will drive for about 2 hours via the Fort portal road and arrive at your hotel in Queen Elizabeth national park in time for lunch.
Settle in at your hotel and later in the afternoon head out for an evening game drive to see the nocturnal animals come out as the diurnal animals retire. You will head back to your hotel for dinner and first night in Queen Elizabeth national park.

Day 4: Morning game drive and afternoon launch cruise
Wake up excited for this engaging day. Grab some breakfast at your lodge and head out for your game drive in the Kasenyi sector. Get a chance to spot the number of wildlife this park has to offer. You will encounter elephants, rhinos, tree climbing lions, leopards and the smaller game like the antelopes; Uganda kobs, Impalas, water bucks and a number of birds can be spotted on this game drive.
Return to your lodge for lunch and wait for the sun to cool down. You will drive back to the Kazinga channel for your afternoon boat trip for a chance to explore the water life of Queen Elizabeth national park. Get to see the crocodiles, hippos and also a great birding point. Drive back to your hotel before it gets dark. Dinner will be served and you will spend the second night in Queen Elizabeth national park.
Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park
Wake up ready to leave Queen Elizabeth national park. Have breakfast and check out of your hotel. Your driver guide will be waiting to take you on your 2 hour road transfer via Ishasha sector where you may have a lucky chance to spot tree climbing lions.
You will arrive at your hotel in time for lunch and spend the rest of the evening at leisure as you wait for dinner to be served.

Day 6: Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
Rise up early anticipating for this highlight of the Uganda safari. You will grab some breakfast and your packed lunch boxes and connect with your driver guide to connect to the starting point of the mountain gorilla trek. You will attend the morning brief before the gorilla trek and head out into the forest to search for the mountain gorillas.
You will trek for about 2 to 6 hours all depending on how far into the forest the mountain gorillas may be that day. Once you meet them, you will spend a magical one hour in their presence and head back to you hotel after. If you still have energy, you may have an optional cultural tour and get back to your hotel in time for dinner and another night.
Day 7: Drive back to Kampala
Right after having breakfast in the cold misty Bwindi forest, you will check out of your hotel and head back to Kampala. This is a 8 hour road transfer with an enroute lunch. You may stop at the equator for a photo moment if you are interested and have time to spend. Your driver guide will drop you off at your advised drop off point in Kampala or Entebbe.
