Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park
At a location of your choice in Kigali city, connect with your guide to transfer you to Nyungwe Forest National Park. During the transfer, you can visit Huye women coffee cooperative to participate in the coffee tour, which will give you the chance to watch how East Africa’s best coffee is grown, harvested, and then processed into a fine ground. After the safari experience, you will make your way to the park to participate in the canopy walk, which will give you the chance to explore the park from an aerial view as you enjoy the walks along the metallic walkways, which will give you access to attractions like the bird species, such as the endemic Albertine species. You will watch a number of primates like the monkey species, swinging within the tree branches, and many other attractions. After the experience, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: karamba birding hike and departure
Have an early morning breakfast and then make your way to the Nyungwe Forest National Park to embark on the karamba birding trail, which is a 4-6 kilometer experience depending on the traveler’s level of strength. With the hike, which is most prominent for birding in Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will have access to over 200 bird species.
