Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 1 of the 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari, upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our representative for a transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy scenic views of hills in the western part of Uganda, and have a stopover at the equator for photographs to symbolize your crossing the equator, you will also get to participate in the southern and northern hemisphere experiments and in Mbarara for lunch. Proceed to the park with a wide game view of animals like Uganda Kobs, Savanna Elephants, and Waterbucks among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Park View Safari Cottages
Day 2: Game drive and Launch cruise
On day 2 of the 7 Days Uganda Rwanda Safari, after an early morning breakfast, you will set off for an early morning breakfast to catch up with the morning game. During the morning game drive, you will watch a number of different animal species like the elephants, Lions, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, and Uganda kobs among others. After the morning drive, you will get to visit Omwani Women’s Coffee Cooperative for a coffee plantation tour and learn about the different stages of coffee from planting to harvest until it’s ready to be consumed and return to Mweya for lunch. After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for a number of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and several water birds. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Park View Safari Cottages

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National park
In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on a transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park via the Ishasha sector which gives you a chance to see the tree-climbing lions at a closer range. Continue to Bwindi with lunch en route and arrive in the evening for, check in the lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at Silverback Gorilla Lodge/ Buhoma Haven Lodge
Day 4: Gorilla trekking
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel. our guide will meet you after having your breakfast and your lunches packed and he will take you to the park headquarters where you are expected to be given a brief before starting the gorilla trek. This brief is done at 7 am. You are given guidelines during this brief before you are allowed to start the trek. This gorilla trek can take about 2 hours to half a day as it’s unpredictable. When you finally find the gorillas, you will have to maintain a 7-meter distance and you are allowed one hour to admire and take photos of the gorillas. During the time you spend with the gorillas, you will get the opportunity to understand a number of their rewarding features like how they co-exist with one another, you will get to watch the duty of the dominant silverback whose role is to mate with the adult females to increase the members of the family, raid other gorilla families for their members, you will watch the juveniles grooming one another for a rewarding safari experience. After the trek, you will then head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will then participate in the Kigali city tour where you will get to visit memorable sites like the Kigali genocide memorial museum where you will get to understand the events that led to the occurrence of the Rwanda genocide, you will also get to visit the Kimironko market the largest market in Rwanda where you will get to purchase souvenirs, organic fruits, Rwanda traditional attires among other products. At the climax of your Kigali city tour, you will get to visit one of the restaurants in the city where you will have tasty Rwanda dishes. After the rewarding experience, you will make your way to Volcanoes National Park where you will check in your hotel. On reaching your hotel, you have time to loosen up and rest and in the evening, you will have dinner as you wait for tomorrow’s activity
Day 6: Gorilla Trekking – Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters with your packed lunch and bottled drinking water for a briefing by the park ranger guides at 7:00 am. After the briefing, you will start your gorilla trekking journey accompanied by the ranger guides in search of the mountain gorillas; this takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.
However, the guides will try to find them from where they were last seen the previous day! You will spend 1 hour with these gentle giants and later return to your lodge to refresh and relax. In the evening, you can do an optional community tour around Ruhengeri for a Rwanda cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge(mid-range)/ Hotel Muhabura (budget) as above
Day 7: Bisoke (Visoke) Hike – Volcanoes National Park
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to the habituated golden monkey troop, you will see a number of primate species like dent’s monkey, vervet monkey, and the black and white colobus monkeys among other monkey species swinging in the tree branches as you get to the habituated golden monkey troop, you will have the chance to see a number of rewarding aspects of the golden monkeys observing a number of features that you will find fascinating about the primates for instance their feeding patterns, the co-existence with one another among other mem0orable aspects. At the climax of your time with the golden monkeys, you will take pictures with and after you will transfer back to your park headquarters where you will be transferred to Kigali City where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice in Kigali City or Kigali International Airport.
